What could cause vibration at 95 km hour?

I have a 2004.5 in my signature. Yesterday it was -45 celcius with windchill here in sask canada. In town driving truck is FLAWLESS. When I went on highway and accelerated it was good until 92-98 km/hour. I felt a vibration in steering wheel.. when i let off fuel pedal it was gone instantly or when i go down hill so i ruled out tires etcc... when i hit tow/haul button to take it out of overdrive it went away as well. and it always happened around 1700-1850 rpms. if i speed up to 110 km or 150 km hour it was gone also. if i idle truck in park it idles fine at all rpms. do u think driveline, ujoint, flexplate, torque converter or tranny issues?

Salt/snow/slush caked into universals, wheels and other parts of the drive line seems like it might be a possibility based on your location .

Anecdotally first time I took my old 97 mudding I had taken it to the car wash and cleaned it up really good I thought, then noticed driveline vibration similar to what you have stated, took off the wheels and I had 3-4 lbs of mud caked to the inside of all my rims messing up the balance.

Take a gander at your u-joints, mine had all thise symtoms except the tow-haul, but if it affects your RPM's when you hit the tow-haul then that could cause it to stop, they are easy to check and rule out, so thats were i would start! Good luck let us know what you find out!

Don't rule out a wheel bearing, the noise and vibration I got off of it when my failed would come in about 55mph and go away at 65mph, and the tone of the truck masked alot of it. The vibration would let off when I let off the fuel somewhat but you could still hear it. Probably time to have them checked out anways.

I had a variation of the death wobble , hitting a bump in the road , every time , the speed was at least 40 MPH , most of the time with at least a slight left hand turn , it felt like the LF wheel was hopping up & down uncontrollably , would have to hit the brakes , slow down to about 10 MPH .
I think that there are some design issues with the front suspension , that lean it self to this , especially when some were in a number of parts are there .
I put new shocks in the front , got rid of the worst of it , now just some shifting across road when hitting a pump , but no wobble .
I forgot to mention that before ever seeing this symptom [ 2 yrs earlier ] I put in the Solid Steel Stabilizer , because I have read & seen broken frames , just behind the steering box .

im a weirdo dumb butt stinker. i just got my truck going. i think i had a bad batch of fuel. i filled up at my normal fuel station (last tank i didnt) and added a whole bottle of antigel deicer/conditioner and drove snot out of truck. it seemed to clear up. doesnt vibrate anymore. must of been a miss of some sort. mAYBE water/ice in tank or fuel bowl. i emptied fuel bowl and removed filter and put filter back in and filled canistr up with conditioner. all seems good now. am i half retarded?> i need a kik in the ***

Don't be misled about the u-joints being tight, mine were extremly tight but when i took the driveshaft out i couldn't hardly move the thing it was so seized up, mine was the rear but i changed them both for the peace of mind!
