With all the talk about turbos lately. I've been wondering what companies out there make twin (compound) turbo kits? I've only been able to find a few on the internet and I'd like to know all of my options. As long as it's worth the money, price isn't an issue.

 

Piers, BD power, Maximized performance, ATS, Relentless diesel, i think power by poole, sheids, and a few more im forgeting and a few i dont know about.

That is a great list of companies that sell twins. Most of them are using the same turbos as one another in their systems and they all have good systems.

The reason I went with a system from scheid's is because of the way they mount their bottom turbo. Their system puts no load on the top turbo to carry the weight of the bottom turbo. I have several systems from other companies that hang the bottom turbo off the turbine housing of the top turbo. By doing it this way there is a good chance that over time and many heat cycles that cracks will form in their systems.

In no way, I'm putting down anyones systems. They all work good and look good. I'm just saying that I like the way Scheids builds their systems. The way they mount their turbos is bullet proof.
