I have called around to multiple tire stores and they have told me 265s are the biggest tire I can put on I call BS. I was told 305's will fit is this true? and if so arent 305's just shy of 33's and if so can I run 33's? need a reply yesterday under the gun for new tires.

 

i have run 315/70/17 bfg all terrian on stock truck with h2 rims and currently run 295/70/17 toyoopen country mt

 

285's and 295's are just shy of 33" - the 295's are wider. 305's might be just over - not sure. I'm running the 285's on stock rims without issue. They are 32.8" in diameter new.

 

305's with no leveling kit, so I've been told.

 

i am running 315/70/17 mickey thompson atz's on my stock 06 truck. They will rub the control arm if you turn them to full lock but not bad enough to worry about.

 

33's will fit stock. Or should i have seen it done before.

 

I run a 295/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler & love 'em. I'm on my 2nd set. No suspension mods at all.

Ive personally run 315 BFG's with a very minor rub on control arm on a stock truck, my friend ran 35" Toyo MT's on his stock 06 with minimal rub, and Ive seen pics of a guy put 37's on his STOCK truck with the same rub he got from 35's. The 35's still afford some room to play in the dirt, but the 37's will sideline you at the Mall.

All stock wheels, BTW.

 

305/70/17 is 33.81 tall 12" wide......315/70/17 is 34.36 tall and 12.4 wide. You should be able to fit 33's no prob. i have a 2wd and i fit 33's with no rub. So i dont see why you cant run 35's

 

I ran 35 x 12.50 Toyo MTs on the stock wheels and stock suspension with only minor rubbing on the control arms.
