What all do I need for the TNT?

Im kind of confused as to what all I will need to run the TNT program. I dont have injectors or springs, but I do have a 62/71/13ss and a fully built Goerend trans coming. What am I lacking to safely run this program?

Ive looked on past threads, but some say yes you can use stock springs with out the TNT (R) version, and some seem to think it is still necessary?

Im not sure on the injector thing though....also what about the necessity of CP3 upgrades?

Im running the TNT on my stock modded cp3 and i have decent pressure still with my 90's. i was at the track last weekend and saw 20KPSI at the end of the 1/4 mile. i guess it could be higher, but got me to the end of the track in 12.50

You're first line says it all... "safely" Becuase some have done it on stock springs, doesn't make it "safe" for all others or you. There are reports of valve contact (not necessarily even with smarty) on 3500rpm runs..

If you want safe... get springs. To really fully realize the true benefit of the TNT, I think mild stix are in order and that will mean an upgraded cp3.

Without the proper supporting mods, there is no point worrying about the tune.

what he said ^^^^

It's call "TNT" as in ( ca boom ! )

IMO... you don't need a thing but, common sense. If you want more power, expect things to break if you don't address them. If you want economy with a slight performance increase, it has that for you too. Just use common sense :-)

I thought Bob said that you needed a Cam to run the TNT or is that just with the 4000rpm one?
