BETA 4.2 vs TNT vs TNT/R....

I was able to do a comparo run this weekend at Left Coast Diesel with Beta 4.2 vs TNT/R and using my run back in June with TNT.

On the same dyno with the same operator, and the same load setting and trying to make everything equal...

TNT-545hp (using June's numbers)
TNT/R-575hp Sept 27
BETA 4.2-568hp Sept 27

So for my truck...TNT/R made 30 more hp than TNT, and 4.2 made 23hp more than TNT!! So for those who feel that 4.2 and TNT/R are close in SOTP would be correct...they are close!!!

I have changed nothing on the truck since the June run, so I feel that it is a correct representation of the true numbers that me truck is capable of. We tried to duplicate EVERYTHING so that it was as fair as possible. I will have videos up on You tube sometime this week. I will say though...TNT/R fuels way harder than 4.2..and the video shows it.

Also with TNT/R cranked...I can still hold 25.5K RP and not see over 1350*.

I wish I could have made it, but Street Vibrations pulled me to Reno instead...

I just dynoed and the 4.2 made about 30hp more then the tnt. I think the 4.2 is a great tune.

As far as I know I still have a stock CP3, unless someone changed it when I wasn't looking!

I find it hard to believe that it can keep up, but my RP gauge never moves from 25.5K!!!

I've only had the TNT/R tune since Friday....But I usually run #7 on the TNT for daily driving....but I swear the #7 TNT/R seems like it has a little more grunt!

With the Stock CP3 and Arson I couldn't keep mine over 12000!

Sounds like you and Jrussel have the same stock pumps! (Stout!)

That is why you did not see 600 plus hp.

Smarty TNTR and DDP 90's (heck even TNT) makes 6xx all day.

I have no idea about your gauge...but maybe it is suspect...

I am running a AD150, but you say that running a better CP3 would net me 600+???

I have no reason to doubt my gauge, but what do you suggest to verify pressure??

I question your comment ok the fact that TNT + 90's should run 600+ all day long...I was one of three trucks that were runnng TNT and 90's and none of could hit 600!!! I was the only one with a stock CP3, the other two had stage 2 pumps????

Any answers for this???
