I'm on my fourth one.

Bu I haven't been physically able to install the fourth one yet. I was in a head on collision on Oct 28 and haven't been able to install the one that was shipped to me while I was in the hospital.

Shipping the third defective one back was one of the first things I had taken care of when I really came around a few days after the crash.

Quads service has always been great each and every time. There was some confusion in shipping back one of the units where the receipt wasn't entered into their computer system after it arrived but it was nothing a phone call couldn't take care of.

Most times I dealt with Roark. He was always most helpful and one time, over the phone, directed me to open the second unit to try to find out what was wrong.

However, I'm sorta worried now about installing this new one seeing as it was made sometime before November and since a new model is coming out. I also wish I'd not got an analog fuel pressure gauge since the quad one died. Oh well, at least I can look at both now. I'll just leave the quad gauge on rail pressure.

Its a great gauge for the price if it works properly would be the best thing going. The only issue I have with the gauge is the memory function. I wish there was a way to reset it after the truck was running. When I first turn on the ignition the gauge records my fuel pressure as 0. I would rather it have a memory of the lowest pressure after the pump was running.

Quad,

Any chance of me sending back the one from Nov. in exchange for the new model?

I'd rather do it once and do it right instead of killing this one off and then doing it again.

The one I have (number 4) is still in its box, never been installed, still has the bubble wrap around the gauge and the cord is still tywrapped together. I received it while I was in the hospital and its been sitting in my room on the shelf ever since.
If I am able to do this will I have to send back the entire harness as each previous time only the gauge unit was exchanged?

Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks Qzilla for easing my mind. I thought about the gauge several times today and can wait.

Honestly, I can say I doubt I will remember!!

I can tell you this, if you order one from a dealer you will not get one of the old ones as I am pretty certain there are none left and we are not shipping them until the new ones go out.

Also, just so you guys know there are not many of the bad ones that ever got sent out. We figured the problem out pretty quickly and stopped shipping them.

The first ones and most of the ones that got shipped are fine. This is not something to be worried about on every single one of them.

Mine does nothing but add a little weight to my truck now. It kept throwing the High Rail Pressure code (not making connection or a bad connection) so I disconnected it and it just goes along for the ride.

Quad. Did you change the connectors at the Rail Pressure transducer end at all?
