I looked on ebay and they only have the air assist super-10 shift ***** which wont work and dont look so great anyways. If I can get a pic of one in a truck sometime I will but unfortunately my company traded away all the lighting 10 equipped trucks and went to the stupid straight 10's for whatever reason.
I changed out a shift **** on a lightning two weeks ago. I will check to see if Eaton wants it shipped out for warranty or scrap it. I will PM you if I get it and you can have it. The little red service light on it wouldnt light, thats all that was wrong with it.

53,

My vote is to ANODIZE it!!!!!!

an·o·dize - To coat (a metallic surface) electrolytically with a protective or decorative oxide.

That way you could still keep the "metal" look and get it done either to match a stainless dash...........
the color or the interior...........
the exterior color...................
maybe blue for CUMMINS.........
Going out on a limb here but brown may even kinda match a wood grain dash

Just a different idea that would still allow you to keep the brushed metal or polished look!!!!!

Blue anodized would look pretty sweet IMO

Ya know you can get some stuff at Walmart called "Sport Tape" that helps IMMENSELY with cold or hot metal. It wouldn't LOOK all that great, but it is comfy to hold!

Many of my aluminum flashlights are wrapped up with it. Hmmm, let me try something....

TOLD you it doesn't LOOK all that great...

Well it's still unfinished as far as a coating goes....I have been running it and I really like it. My wife drove the truck for the first time since I installed it and she came home and commented on how smooth it shifts
probably going to P-coat it when I get some time to drop it off.
