Man that looks good too bad you couldn't conform it to have more of a grip type look to it... Still looks better than the stock one!!! I seen somewhere maybe it was banshee that took a B&M handle and used it!!!

I like the smooth finish...thats why I polished it like crazy!! I have a B&M T handle style but it feels weird to have a T handle and shift gears... just got back from test driving/getting coffee and the new version 2.1 is AWESOME!!! I think I have found the perfect weight I will go snap a pic or 2

Version 2.1

this is a shot of it threaded further down to match the tapper of the shift rod..looks much better IMHO

this is a shot of the old version 2.0 just for a comparison..before I tapped it out more, I also took some more metal out of the fatest center section..

I think I will run this for a while I like it..real smooth shifting

now I need to figure out some sort of coating for it?????
anybody have ideas on a coating???

Why not just powder coat it? I wish I could find a shift **** from an Eaton/Fuller Lightning 10 big truck shifter. I don't have any pics but it's got a cool molded grip shape to it different from standard big truck shift ***** and also has a button on the side of it where your thumb naturally rests that would be perfect for my OD. Or someone with an engine brake it would be great for that too.

I would get it powder coated. Some of them have the stuff to make it look like the black chrome

That **** looks great; with that much inertia it would be a lethal weapon in an accident though. Like having a bowling ball sitting on your seat.
It would look nice with some custom laser engraving on it.
What kind of metal is it?
It should retain the heat real well, do you wear driving gloves?

What about the "chrome" powder coat? That might be close to what you want. I doubt seriously it looks like real chrome. It probably looks like "chrome" paint which doesn't really look like chrome

I found a pic of the "ergonomic" eaton fuller lightning 10 shift **** although not a very good one and doesn't really do it justice:

Yeah I used to drive a pete with one of those. It was a really sweet transmission. They're electronic assisted on the gear splits unlike most big trucks where the split is air assisted. That's why it would be perfect for our little trucks with engine brakes/overdrives cause it's got that button on the shifter and wires all ready to hook up plus it's got an ergonomic design to it and fits your hand really good. I looked on ebay and they only have the air assist super-10 shift ***** which wont work and dont look so great anyways. If I can get a pic of one in a truck sometime I will but unfortunately my company traded away all the lighting 10 equipped trucks and went to the stupid straight 10's for whatever reason.
