Wastegate solenoid replacement resistor ?'s
Hey guys... I've been getting the wastegate solenoid code for about two weeks now. I have the stock turbo installed right now with electronic wastegate. So I unplugged the electrical connection and installed the resistor plug I was given by II when I was running their Silver turbo... Anyhow, still have the darn code. I cleaned the connections with contact cleaner and even checked across the resistor with my Fluke meter (148 ohms)...
What gives? Could the wiring be frayed somewhere prior to the plug end? Anyone have this happen before?

I tried fooling mine with a 100 Ohm... didn't work for me. Wound up replacing my solenoid - not really the info you wanted, hopefully someone will chime in on the resistor trick.
