Realy? I was thinkin on the 610 motors it was more like 25-40?

I dont know that I am gona get rid of it all togther but I thought about pullin it just to see how the truck ran without it. Honestly I am scared I may do more harm than good, like adding too much timing and melting a piston.

It always helps...

Don't add any timing if you are afraid. Keep it. When you are ready to tune...PM or call me.

I would highly highly recomend a smarty, it will make your truck a totaly differant animal. The TST is great for the top end but is NO WHERE near as as strong as the smarty down low. Your turbo will spool up much much quicker with the smarty.

It is hard to remember what settings I was runnin before the smarty but I would stick with 12 auto on the timing and RP of 1 should be ok, though I never really cared for the way the tst delivered pressure, I always used the mp8. For me tt03 never did that great, it always got hot before I could really romp on it, and tt05 wasnt much better. Both helped with the low end but still leave some to be disired and it was just too hot so I ran the standard program. If you have a rail guage you can watch your RP when adjusting the tq settings but I never really when over 2 very often cause at 3 and higher I was draining the rail. And with the hp I didnt go over 5, there was nothing more for me to gain other than egts.

Try 5/2, 5/3, 4/2, 4/3 and so on. Try another settings you want but I bet 5/2 or 5/3 will likely net the best sop power. But your truck may like 6/2 or 5/4, its just hard to say from one truck to another. Once you got the settings kinda figured out try your differant programs too, tt05 and standard.

Once you get the coin though I would definately get a smarty.

If I left anything out or if you have any other questions feel free.

cquestad helped me a lot when I was runnin a tst/mp8 stack so I cant take the credit, he lead me in the right direction from the get go.

Thanks. It will be a while before I am gona be serious about tuning. I need to get my fluidampr pinned, a bypass kit, and my twins on before I can really start makin power. And I left out my cp3 but I have something up my sleeve for that as well. I do apreciate the help and one day when when things slow down here I am gona call ya and pick you brain about some ideas I got.

Thanks again

I would probably consider doin springs and studs in the future but keep your 66 around 50 psi or a lil less (I had mine set at 48) and dont get the tnt R tune and you should be good. You are gona love that smarty, it is THAT great. Plus now it seems some new software is comin out for on the fly adjustability so thats even better.

I dont know that it is worth tryin to get the beta 4.x's anymore. There have been so many updates released since then. I still run the 4.4 in my truck simply because I am not motivated enough right now to try something differant and I got some other stuff on my to do list before I worry about that. Maybe some others will chime in but I would say order a smarty and see how you like it then try some of the revo programs. Just my .02
