Evenin, DTR... Like I said in the title...
New turbo... HTT 64/71/16ss
Walbro 392 that has seen no problems running 10psi at WOT with everything I have at kill until now...
MEAN!!!

Rail Pressure stayed pretty good, tho... 21k at WOT, even when the FP was at nil...
Thinking about hitting the dual walboro setup...

Hat, what rpm are you starting these runs at (10psi or so)?
I think that 16ss housing spools better than I would have guessed, and it sure does help keep peak EGT down..

Boys, I have only had this thing in since yesterday at about 4... I have not taken it into town, and the lag is something else...
I was running at about 70 mph when I started all of these. Hard to lite this thing, I think I over did the turbo. We'll see when I get the new injectors...

So it looks like your cruising fuel pressure is only at like 8psi, what is it at idle? Are you running the 3/8" drawstraw into the tank? It seems like you may have some restriction somewhere along the way. Do you just have the stock fuel filter? When was the last time it was changed? You should be seeing something like 15-20 psi at idle with that GDP392 setup. Do you have the bypass tuning kit for that? By swapping springs and washers you can get that pump up to 40psi.
I'm running the GDP392 with 3/8" drawstraw in the tank to 3/8" line to the Walbro pump, then 1/2" line up to my 2-micron fuel filter (no stock fuel filter anymore) then to a tee which goes to both cp3's. My fuel pressure gauge reads from the cp3 and it shows just above 15psi at idle, stays at 15psi while cruising on the freeway, and only drops to 14psi on WOT runs. And my bypass is set the way it came from Richard, I haven't swapped springs or washers to bump up the pressure.
I probably wouldn't do anymore WOT runs if your fuel pressure is dropping down to zero psi, that's not good for your cp3 or injectors. It may be worth a shot to make yourself a "big line kit" from your Walbro pump up to your cp3. You could talk to Richard at http://www.glacierdieselpower.com or the guys at http://www.vulcanperformance.com and see if that gets your pressure up.

First thing check and see if you can adjust that walbro and up that initial PSI. Second you may be draining the canister and might need to look into a big line kit, either that or go with a airdog150...however I see no reason to jump from the walbro just think you need a big line kit and 1/2" draw straw to help feed that beast.
When you get in the Flux 2.5's it should help quite a bit, but your next weak link will be the CP3. Also you might see if someone close by ya has a Smarty to borrow and try stacked with that MP8. See if that makes a difference verse the Edge.
My truck goes in at 9am to get the new HTT 62/65/13ss put on with a new ATS manifold, I'll see if I can get pictures and maybe vids posted later today.
It reminds me of the SPS 66 I had in my '03. The EGT's got HOT quick! It seemed boost never got ahead of the EGT's. Maybe it seems counter-intuitive, but I think I needed more fuel to get it spooled sooner...
When I switched to a SPS 62 my roll-on EGT's were much better. Peak hp was down about 50hp, but the torque curve was almost flat, compared to the old torque curve that looked like a hp curve.
Get those injectors and lift pump upgrade and do the same test. I'd like to see the same vids then!
MadHat,
Your FP should be higher than 10 PSI. I had the same problem after installing my GDP 392, I called Richard and he suggested to very quickly clamp of the fuel line leading away from the fuel pump to the stock filter canister to see if will clear the line. I did so and now I sit at about 17 PSI and only drags down 2-3 PSI at WOT.

You really think you over did it??? Have you done a dead stop to 100 run? whats the initial spool up like?

I need to change my filters... that's probably what it is. I want to run bigger lines, but I'm gonna wait for a good long weekend to drop the tank and get a 1/2 or 3/4 line in there...
I don't think that I have any restrictions... my lines are straight shots...
