Has anyone tried this muffler on a Dodge ? Part Number 21470. I found them at Black Cloud Diesel for 54.00 shipped. Its a Straight through design ,3.5 on both ends overall 37 in. They show them on a ford 7.3 but I wonder how it would be on a dodge.

 

I've heard that there the same as a Donaldson

 

I have heard a couple and I think they sound kind of raspy/airish. Not very deep or throaty. I gave one away last week just because I decided not to put it on and was tired of looking at it sitting in the garage. You should have posted two weeks ago and I would have given it to you for shipping costs! The Donaldsons of the same size (at least the ones I have seen) have an open expansion chamber on one end that cuts out most of the raspy sound. I think they sound a little better, much throatier. Both in the mid 30" range are pretty loud when you get on it.
