Walbro Question

Does this kit still use the factory fuel filter or does it bypass it? In otherwords, if I buy this kit, will I need to buy the filter system as well?

Pretty sure you use your stock filter setup . It has the water sensor, dump valve, & heater. No need to ditch it.

Yes you will still use the stock filter housing. The ones bypassing the stock filter are guys who are running a higher pressure and have the 2micron/water seperator.

I think if I were going to use the glacier deal I would get big line 2 micron filter the whole deal and run higher pressure.

I am looking into a Holley billet pump but no one has them in stock and today I found out they are fixing a problem with them locking up. 12-150 is the number from Holley and they are evidently having trouble with it. Mallory has a similer pump for more money but that is what I was trying to save. The Walbro pump is looking better again but I can't use some of the Glacier kit on my truck and I am not ready to completely trash truck warranty. I'm thinking with the other filter I could claim that I am trying to save the injectors if the need ever arised.

Hey I'm not sure. I will look and see. You might PM me with the same question. I will try it out tonight. I am very happy with the converter and the price was real good too.
