Volumizer

Does anybody know how the Volumizer increases power? Does is raise the rail pressure?

I read this on another post......

The Volumizer behaves very nearly like a pure pressure box in terms of total output and smoke, suggesting that timing advance is very small.

Within the pressure/timing box category, the PDQ Volumizer is unique because it, like the Ramifier, is able to re-map the MAP signal itself to new values. This allows greater low-boost fueling, a stronger low end, and more smoke.

Hope it was what you were looking for.....

Yeah, that helps. I was worried that my Volumizer would hurt my injectors in the long run. I was thinking about getting rid of it.

Just got back from high desert event in palmdale. There were 2 trucks with the volumizer on, one was me and the other a friend from our chapter-so cal rattlin rams-

His truck 03 ho 6sp afe and staight pipe 1/4 mile run 15.00 @ 89mph
before volumizer 17.46

My truck 03 so auto afe 5inch exhuast 16.10 @ 83mph
before volumizer 18.76

Both trucks are 4x4 horrible 60foots and these numbers are uncorrected. From what i was told by track officials with a .97 correction factor our trucks should have been atleast half a second faster. The air is horrible up there and hot.

Reason for posting this is that the volumizer works ive had it for 2 years and no problems yet, not to many people talk about this box.

Awesome, that's good news to hear. I've got 55,000 on my 04.5 with the Volumizer. I've used it since the day I got the truck. Have you had any problems with your converter or tranny?

What type of exhaust do you have? I have the straight pipe and when I flip to the 100 setting the truck makes some sort of tiny rattle when i accelerate. I think it is just b/c of the straight pipe. Do you know what i'm talkin about?
