I was wondering if anyone has liked thier volumizer box. If it smokes good, and if it throws any codes? How high you EGT got with it?

 

i've had mine for about 2 years and i like it, i don't know of too many people using this box . i get 18-21mpg depending on if i'm pulling my trailer and i always keep it on the middle setting unless...well you know . my trucks been back to the dealer and they haven't said anything about any codes that may have shown up. i don't have any guages so i can't tell you about the egt's. as far as smoke goes it only smokes a little under hard acceleration on the highest setting. with all my other mods my truck dynoed at 332hp & 696 lb ft of torque. i know these aren't the highest numbers that could be made with this engine, but i'm satisfied with the mods that i have made, the fuel mileage i'm getting, and the amount of money it took to do so

 

Had mine since truck was almost new. Strong box, never any codes, and reliable. I can smoke the tires easier with the volumizer than with the power pup. Have them stacked now but still like running the volumizer solo.

Volumizer is a very strong box down low because it uses reverse boost fooling to get the ECM to fuel hard at low boost levels. The box behaves like an aggressive pressure box with fancy boost fooling. 100HP worth of pressure is getting up there though and just like the other 100HP pressure boxes, watch out for the pressure relief valve and injectors.
