Visor Shelves, Anyone Have Them?
They seem like a nifty way to add some storage space. I'm just curious as to if any of you guys have them installed in your rig, and if there are any pictures of them installed floating around. I noticed Pace Edwards has discontinued thier "visor shelf-it" line, I am kind of curious as to why. There's another one called Vizor Caddy, but it doesn't look as nice as the Pace Edwards version. Anyone know how big they are? Do they hang down too low? I'd like to be able to install a HAM raidio up there as well.

Ditto. Had one in an F150 (in fact, I still have the shelf, but not the truck). The visors became useless, but the shelf was nice for storage. If you never use your visors, then it's probably a good thing for you.

I'm 6' tall, I bought one in my 93 ramcharger but sent it back. It hung too low for me. Unfortunately I dont recall the brand. I might have gotten used to it, had I left it in, but never gave it the chance. It might have been a clausterphopia thing, but I felt it was close to my head too if I was leaning forward for the plow controls or something, (when plowing I have my chest right about on the steering wheel at times) I like lots of room around me, my windows are down every day .

I had one on my '95 GMC. I agree with the others, the storage is really nice, but you lose most of your visor's ability. You can usually wrangle it around and find a position that works, but I found it to be too much trouble unless the sun is really botheing you.
