If You Don't Have Them, Order Them Now!

Order a set of towing hooks for the front of your truck if you don't already have them on there. I just rear-ended a lady and these hooks DESTROYED the rear of her car, I faired out pretty well though.

We were on a 2 lane street in the left hand lane, this lane either went straight or it turned left. So shes nearly halfway through the intersection when she decides to lock up her brakes then put on her turn signal at the last minute and make the turn. I guess a Chevy Trailblazer can stop faster then a 3/4 ton truck. Who would of guessed. So I plowed into her at about 8-10mph. Her cargo door is completely crushed, the hooks really did work on the rear of her car. I only received 2 small scratches about an inch in length where her rear plate was.

The lady told the police officer that she locked up her brakes at the last minute to turn but i'm still at fault 100%. Oh well. Life goes on, noone was hurt and it was a hell of a way to kick off a Monday.

It wasn't her fault, so no, she can still keep driving the same way...may even give 06RAM2500 a run for his money in court for her 'whiplash"...just gotta love our court system here in the good ole USA...

Speaking of bad drivers, some old man pulled up to the 4 way stop and had his right turn signal on. Believing he would make a right turn I head forward and he takes off straight to. I had to stop, otherwise I'd a hit the ol buzzard.

I edited it for you. Just torques me off how some people are still allowed to drive when they pull dangerous stunts like that. She's awful lucky it wasn't an 18 wheeler behind her.

The lady shouldn't have done what she did but I didn't need to be as close as I was in the first place. I'll take it with a grain of salt knowing that I didn't sustain hardly any damage and a lesson learned for next time.

Now that I think about it, if I wasn't in a truck with a 6" lift and 37's I would of crunched my front bumper pretty good. lol

I've been there. Plow quick mount on my '98 saved my front end for the most part. The bumper got tweaked a little and broke pass. headlight lens. Only I was going 50 and it was a toyota.( they pulled out in path ). Totaled their car.

Well no plow on the dually so I'll take this as a sign to get the hooks my truck should have came with.

Just tonight, I had one of those small foreign jobs in my blind spot on the passenger side, dark, rainy night, just keeping pace with me, in my BLIND SPOT! Checked the mirror, hit the signal, checked mirror again...start to move over and accelerate...beeepppp....bbeeeppp, oh now I see you. Some people just don't get it.
