results today...... smarty wild tm on level 8, quad race at 140= 505hp/1021 ft lbs. whoooo hhoooo. to say the least i am very happy with those results. except when the dyno operator missed 5th gear and tried to go into reverse. that didnt make me happy.

link for video to follow.

i had to refrain, my son was present. i explained to the dyno operator how expensive a nv5600 was, how hard they were to find, and how attached i was to it. he felt bad. no harm done.

------- Yep, those are some pretty good Vids!!!! I really like the one where you can see the Gauges !!!! I wonder what you could do in the 1/4 mile???? Those are some darn good numbers///// what does it feel like when you hit full boost?? I will be looking into an exhaust now because of that vid!!! Sounds bad-@**! Thanks again for getting those posted on the diesel garage!!! I will keep you up to date on my hard earned money that now gets spent on Mods!

Thanks, JB

full boost comes on like a freight train. yesterday i backed the boost down, cause during yesterdays videos, i got over 50psi, too high without studs.

this morning i only hit 40psi on the dyno, should have adjusted the pressure there, may have gotten a few more ponies.

drag racing with a 6 speed? not yet. i may have to hit the local strip in the spring and see if i can run in the 14's.

spend spend spend

---- Yes, I can feel the Plastic Melting in my pocket now! I WILL have to wait until the 36,000 before I can go CRAZY with the Mods-----BUT, a Exhaust, Intake, Fuel Kit, Gauges, and a Smarty will be in the works!! I have a lieanant (spelling ) dealership that will work with me on the Mods!
--I would think that you could do a 3rd Gear Launch and run pretty good!

that con ofe is not supposed to like 3rd gear launches. but south bend says they are good for only 450hp and 1000 ftlbs.

Nice numbers, I am impressed and excited as a smarty is in my future.

I may have missed it but what kind of dyno did you run on?
What gear did you pull in?

Edit: Wow I just watched the dyno video and that truck sounds great, I will look back through your sig but if it aint there please give details on what exhaust you have, nice smoke too, I think that smarty may be in the nearer future than I had planned.

OH NO, that clutch held just great. 99.9% of the time, i WILL NOT be running around completely maxed out. only for really special occasions.

wap, it was a mustang dyno. 5th gear, which is 1 to 1.

wet roads can be interesting. i set the smarty back to stock and used the quad for the ride home since it was pouring cats, dogs, and field mice on the way home.
