Speed Shift

Ok guys I have seen a bunch of people that are interested in the new Smarty Jr smoking. So me and some buds made some videos today to demonstrate smoke, egts, and power of JR. The gray truck is an auto 2006 with MBRP exhaust, drop in filter, Smarty Jr, and Isspro boost and pyro guages. The first two runs are full throttle 0-100mph, and the last is just for smoke possibilities. The black truck is a 6spd with a FASS fuel system, Modded CP3, exhaust, intake, and Edge EZ on lvl3.

All runs were done with the JR on sw3.

The gray truck MAX egts at 100mph were ONLY 1200!!!
The black truck hit about 1450.

These were taken on a closed course, private road.

Nice...been wonderin about the smoke. My dad doesnt like smoke but maybe I can talk him into a JR. And its about time somebody put good tuneage on their vids!!

I think I will be running my truck on the dyno in two weeks with the Jr... going to do 3 runs... thinking stock, 40, and ????

My dad Jr'd his truck last night and then towed 5K from Seattle to Eugene... really liked it.. never saw any real high EGT's.. unlike stock.

Nice, might have to put a smarty on my next rig. Had to turn the vid off halfway thru.......no matter the music, it ruins a video when you can't hear the trucks......

Thanks Guys! I am glad you like it, I wish I could have included the truck sound more, but from 20+mph all you hear is wind.

My jr, doesnt smoke at all, even on 100hp its a VERY light puff and thats it.

Mine gives a good little Puff on initial take off on the 100 setting..
I believe with a stick you can LUG the engine a bit more so that may explain the black truck smoking more...

Yeah, agreed. Wind does kinda suck in a video. I cover my mike on mine now to try and minimize the wind sound but sometimes it's hard when you're trying to get a steady shot.

From what I have read it seems to smoke more on the 40hp setting than any of the others. I have mine on the 70hp setting and it smoke decent from a stand still and will smoke decent when I roll into the fuel pedal when the truck is in OD. I have not tried any of the other settings yet but here in MN with the winter fuel it is tough to gauge smoke anyways because the fuel sucks.

Mine smoke a bit more on Econ than the others.
The 100hp tune will puff some black at first then hazy.
