EGT's with cat in place...
What can I expect for egts with leaving the cat in and a muffler delete on my 06' QC. I have a superchips flashpaq in now, and plan on running a tst. I dont want to ditch the cat due to the annoyance of some of the trucks here in town. But i also dont want egts to be too high.

Yeah definately... i have an S&B intake on it and its cooled em down, but on my previous 12 valve i had 4 inch downpipe to 5 inch out the back and the drone was unbearable at around 2000-2100 rpm. I dont want to get that back by having to remove the cat and installing a muffler. I like the sound it has now, but i know the cat traps alot of heat from restriction. I'd rather not have to mess with it.

I don't want drone either. I like how quiet the stocker is. I ordered a 51" Donaldson muffler. It is supposed to be as quiet as stock. I think it is made for big trucks.

Yeah that donaldson is designed for a big truck. I work for Detroit Diesel, and we sell all the donaldson stuff. I helped a guy after work put one on a duramax, and i didnt like the sound at all. I like throaty, but not a stock gasser sound which that one pretty much sounded like.
