I am finally selling off my more expensive items from my old truck and would like to purchase a smarty and upgrade the tranny to hold the power. How much needs to be done with the stock tranny to keep from destroying it?

 

Depends on who answers but at least a Tourqe converter and Valve body. Beyond this is input/output shaft or a built replacement will all the goodies.
