Hi guys. I recently updated to the new smarty software. I still get timing rattle so i'll go back to running aftermarket injector software again.
My question is do I have to put my truck back to stock again?
Or can I simply update the Smarty with the new software and program the new catcher to the truck without ever putting the truck back to stock?

according to the literature, you can update from # to another # without going back to stock.

 

I have been doing it from the beginning. I haven't been back to stock in over a year and I have updated my Smarty about 6 times since then.

Does the aftermarket injector/turbo software increase timing? Like would it be bad on a stock truck? I dont want to mess anything up.
