Twins with the stock turbo?

I wanted to see if anyone has tried a twin setup using the stock turbo and an s400 or somthing like it? alot of the 2nd gen setups use an hx35 and and an ht3b or s400 just wondering if some has done it on a 3rd gen

There are kits readily available with that combination in mind. I think that there is one called idaho twins or something like that, and artic air... I dont know or remember what is the other turbo that they put with it

I think the idaho twins use a b2 and relentless uses a ht3b. Ive already got some primary turbos so Im just trying to find someone to sell me the piping and what not.

That is kind of what I am looking for as well. A fairly good price kit that has everything you need would be a great find!

I think relentless builds a set like this also. I hear they are swamped with business at the moment though

I would think Relentless or Idaho CTD would sell you just the pipes if you have the turbos in hand. That too is my plan, I am on the lookout for a S400.

I ordered my set from relentless and they should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know how they turn out. I have a good friend who has the Idaho set up and he ran a 12.289 on #2 and still needs more fuel. I have the htb2 now and I just need more air. I would have loved to get a set up that I could have used it on but I kinda figured if either of these turbo's blow for some odd reason. They will only be a couple hundred to replace, as compared to 1500 or more with the htb.

Could you for say get the twin set up using the stock turbo and put a smaller exhaust wheel and housing on the stock turbo to get it to spool faster and then get a bigger turbo for the second one.

I highly doubt spool up would be a problem usin the stocker as the top turbo.

How much you talking for just piping from idaho twins kit. I have a good idea on what the relentless piping runs.

With a HiTech exhaust manifold he quoted me $2600, Ive tried Relentless but have not been able to reach them. What do you think the price is in the Relentless kit?

the whole kit is 2850 and it sounded like they were charging 500 for the turbo. Hope this helps
