Got a sps 62 currently on the truck and the stock turbo sitting on the garage floor. Im wanting to go with twin turbos for cooler egts and power but not looking for drag racing, just good dependble daily driver. What are the options with the turbos and mods I currently have.

 

Either of the two turbos you have are good for use in a twinset. The stock turbo will give better low end, the SPS better with top end.

Based only on the info provided, my best opinion would be to sell the SPS and that would help pay for the rest of the twin kit. A number of vendors build kits to add a primary turbo to the stocker.

II has the new twin kit. You can order the rest of the kit seeing as you have the SPS 62 already.

 

Get a hold of Mike Holmen. I'm currently have some custom twins built. He knows these turbos inside/out.

 

I agree with soulezoo. Use the stocker and sell the SPS, unless.... your going with bigger injectors and modded CP3. Because without more fuel, the lag I know you have now with the SPS 62, will increase in a set of twins and you won't be happy.
