turbo upgrade!? im lost

You could, but you'd be over your max... I think I broke 530 with a stocker and an edge, but it was all I had to get that number.

You'll want to upgrade. Do it right the first time. I know it's hard, but get a clear idea on what you should buy to put your truck comfortably at your desired power level.

Remember, you think you only want 550... hahahaha...

Start another thread. "What turbo and injector combo to make xxx hp."

im talking to engineered diesel right now to see what they think. might just send the turbo to them if it makes sense to go that route.

Take your time. Research. Look at other guys trucks that have the same hp you want and look at their mods...

no doubt. preciate the help brother ima be broke for a while after this 6k+ transmission so ill have time to do some research!

I couldnt agree more.

My biggest mistake long ago was thinking that Banks was the elite modder, then I got smart late and joined DTR just to find out there were cheaper yet MUCH more effective ways to make my truck run good. The HTT turbo i had was the result of alot of questions, pondering, and help from the good guys here like Mark and Top. One of the best decisions I've executed.

Spend your money wisely, especially in this economy.
