can any one tell me which turbo my truck came with, size wise.
mine is an 03, auto, 305/555 motor.
i would also like to know what a 98 truck, 12 valve motor truck came with for turbo?
a friend on mine would like to run my stock turbo on his 98 , is this possible?
if no, why?

Esentially a modern, slightly improved version of the age old wastegated Holset HY-35 w/55mm compressor and 9cm exhaust housing. As to wether it will bolt up to the stock exhaust manifold of the old 12v..........I don't know enough about the older trucks to say, so maybe someone with more info will chime in.

 

No,it will Not be a drop fit, 03/04 HY-35 / 98 HX-35 ,The Exhaust flange on the 98 is different. The Intake on both turbo is entirely different, With some modifications it could work, its just not worth it.
