My stock turbo is cracked, so I am looking for recommendations for a replacement. 2005 Cummins 2500 4X4, Quadzilla tuner, MBRP exhaust​​​​, otherwise stock, 310,xxxx miles. Used mostly for towing.

 

Unless you're looking for more power, your stock unit lasted over 300k miles, I'd go with OEM.

I don't see a crack. I see a few places where it looks like some rust has flaked off.

For a replacement turbo on your 2005 Cummins 2500, look into the BorgWarner S300 series or the Holset HX35 as they’re both solid for towing and compatible with your setup. Either will improve reliability and performance over stock, especially at higher mileage. These options work well with your Quadzilla tuner and MBRP exhaust.
