how much is the stock turbo off our 2007 5.9l worth?

 

If it's in good shape you could probably get $300-400.

Not really going to be a good fit on his truck. Your wastegate setup is totally different from what he is running. Your turbo uses a solenoid to activate the wastegate, where his is mechanical with boost pressure activiating it.

 

The wastegate can be converted to manual.

i got a buddy that wants to buy my stock '03 turbo for his '02. Would that be a bolt up application? Are the turbos even different?

 

This would be pretty close to a bolt on. You will probably have to clock it a bit, but other than that there is pretty much a bolt on.

 

Is there much difference between the two turbos?
