Turbo Help!!

Hey guys, i just installed my turbo and my CEL is on now the turbo says NOTE:2004.5-2006 requires a boost control resistor. There talking about the quad right? well i looked at the quad and there is 2 clips on the harness. Well problem being i only need one clip for the harness that was connect to the old turbo. what do i do with the other clip?
Or is it something else?
Thanks Nick

I just had mine installed and i'm also getting a cel for overboost.....not sure what it's related too....maybe the same thing???

ok i just found out, you have to turn the wastegate off in the smarty option menu, either on REVO or TNT. it will take the CEL and overboost codes off
woot woot!!!

You will also need the resister. That tells the computer that there is still a W/G actuator there, or it'll set a code too.

The resistor connects down by the stock turbo and fools it that there is still an electronics waste gate and not an open circuit.

Then use your smarty and turn off the waste gate, so over boost doesn't give you a code. The Quad boost fooler changes the whole boost profile seen by the computer and IMO is not a good solution, I have one, used it for 5 minutes then put it in the glove box.

--Mine has the Smarty Wastgate disable already activated....so i might have to check to see if i have the resister installed, or if my installer skipped that part.....anyone know how i can visually identify if the resister is installed?

There has to be something plugged into the W/G actuator harness.
