Anyone tried stacking a TST w/twins with the PPE 215 Hp downloader?

 

that's what Piers is using in his high HP truck. Seems like it works pretty good

I had a friend dyno his 03 with a PPE. It is not the HOT version. It made 40 more HP over the TST. I put my small pressure box on and picked up another 20.

I think the HOT PPE is only for the 04.5 and up trucks.

Yes, he had the TST stacked to the PPE. He gained 40 over the TST alone. Then stacked our small pressure box and picked up another 20.

 

Hmmmmm, that sounds nice.....an expensive 40hp though but if your at max....what was the TST set at. I thought with the proper injectors and timing (cam), we (the 03 and 04 guys) could run the TST to 9x9 and get increases all the way. 7x7 or 8x5 are my top settings before heat stroke (soak), but that is the stock turbo and lack or cool air volume. With waterwaterwatermethanol I could run 9x9, but the turbo would hate me. ks

 

The PPE I was looking at is the Xcelerator, rated at 215 HP and 350 FT/LBS. I called them direct and they don't make a HOT version for the 03/04. Figure it should work better than my Edge EZ stack. My Stage 3 water meth kit should be here next week, hoping this combo should get me close to my goal of 700 RWHP. If not, I may try NOS.............
