My trany temp gauge is bouncing up and down, from temp to higher temps.
Sometimes the gauge will pin itself on max for a second then go back, and so on. Its an isspro gauge. I was thinking the temp sensor is dying or can it be the gauge? or a loose wire.

sounds like the amplifier or whatever the little green box under the dash is acting up

Could it be electrical inerfearance? or would that allso make the pyro dance around to? were would you get a new amplifier box from, or do have to buy a whole new set up? Does isspro have a good rep for warrante on their products. It's starting to drive me crazy. the first time it did it had me a little worried that it was the trany starting to over heat. becouse it move up real slow to max and stayed there for a second, then started to dance around.

My pyro went south and I called the guy I got it from and he orderd me a new one!! I just got to go and get it tomorrow!!!

 

Good idea I well do that tomorrow morring. Thanks, its a good thing I asked. The place were I got it, is about a hour drive from were I live. And luck would have it I am heading that way tomrrow morring.

Happend to me last year. It was the amplifier box. The problem is the transmission gauge is calibrated with the the gauge, amplifier and the probe. At least this was what the guy @ Dieselmanor told me. So you will need all (3) exchanged.

 

Check your ground before changing anything!

 

I will make sure the ground is good for the dive in this morring. If no fix, I well see if i can get a hole new set up. Hopfully its the ground, that dash mount I have is a pain to take off and getting it back on there, well lets just say no young children should be nere the area. or they might learn some new words.
