Tranny went, KABOOM! UP DATE
Well tranny got taken apart today, and wow...total destruction. The shaft took out the forward and rear drum, pump and assembly, converter and sent particals every where in the tanny. I mean this shaft didn't just break, it shattered into a million pieces. Also it may have stressed the housing. Looks like i need a new core. Good news is the sun coast kit looked like it was holding up well. The koleen steels and red eagle clutches had no evidience of heat or slippage damage. So, here is what she will get, Full Billet in put, out put and intermediate shafts, new HTS Race VB, updated stap anchors, billet accumilator, Goerend 15 blade left cut TQ, New steel front and rear drums. New oil pump, completely new seals, gaskets and all torrington bearings, steel bands, all new red eagle clutches, koleen steels, built over drive assembly and a few other mods. GO BIG OR GO HOME...........
