Towing with mack 4 (150-200HP) nozzles?

Anyone tow with 150-200hp nozzles? Curious how exhaust temps get. I have 90 HP nozzles now but am considering more power. I just don't want exhaust temp issues.

How's mileage compared to 90 HP nozzles?

I have dynomite nozzles now -- are the F1 or flux or mach nozzles better?

When I tow now (14000lbs) I have zero problems with EGT's. The compound turbos and water injection help. I average about 1100* at 41lbs boost on a slight grade (20%). Of course I'm taking it easy.

I think my dual cp3's are limited with 90hp nozzles. A waste to have them fith such small injectors. But I need my truck for towing, also.

Anyone? Suggestions? Info about early '04 model cummins models would be great -- I have the 235HP model. If I lose 1.5mpg with 150HP nozzles (daily driving) I'm not concerned. But if I get 3-4 mpg loss I may stick with the 90's.

Yet I want to break the 750HP barrier and can't with 90hp nozzles.

well the big thing will be your water temps if you can keep the egts down. May want to call on of DOns vendors and talk to them direct. You can see from my sig who I deal with and you will get a honest answer. Some people have made some very impressive numbers with flux 2's .

You have the same engine and many of the same mods, save for injectors, that I do. You can go 150's (flux 3) for towing and be ok with those turbos. I have flux 3's. TO get to 750, you will need to have flux 3.3-3.5 (165-175). You will start to get into trouble at that point with low end smoke and heat while towing heavy. Your water coming on at a lower level will be a must. You can do it, but you must be careful. Expect a 1-2 mpg loss with 3.5's from where you are at now.

With the smarty POD you should be able to run any sticks you want so long as you have pump enough to run them. Then if you get hot just turn your power percentage down.

What are the best nozzles? I understand F1 nozzles produce more power but less EGT'S than the competitors. Is this true?
