Yeah, I know. Believe me, I've thought long and hard about it.

A few years ago, I was dead set against crossing over. I said that it's not about the money, but in 20+ years, it will be. I'm going back to school in the summer semester to try to get my degree, we'll see what's going on when I get done. Those three years on PI set me back quite a bit.

What school you looking at? My wife is currently going to, and a buddy went to AMU. The great thing about them is you will not pay anythng out of your gibill. They go off the TA rates and it includes books. It's all online too. If you go year around, you can go from zero credits to a degree in 3 years. I got a TON of credits because of doing MCI's. I went to the mci website and made a list of every MCI that is ace accredited and started doing them. I endup knocking out like 48 credit hours jus from MCI's alone while in Oki. Not to mention all the other stuff I got off my SMART transcript.

BTW, Cyrus The Virus gots his eyes on you! lol

I have thought about using the rest of my GIBill to get my pilots license, but with the number of hours needed. I decided to use it to get my masters instead.

I have thought about bein an officer too alot even thought about tryin the WO program and goin army. The WO army thing just can't get myself convinced to do it I like being a marine but the sad thing is my body's already so jacked up I might not even be able to reenlist. I have alot of college and I am actualy studying a distance education diesel course pretty much all the stuff you need to get your foot in the door for that stuff. I have plenty of options it's just waitin to see if they will pan out, I wouldn't mind some O3 pay either.

I'm tellin ya man. Going from E-6 over 6 to O-1E Over 8 is a pay raise, plus the BAH and BAS is more. After 4 years, your pretty much given O-3 and an O-3E over 12 makes off pretty well!

that is a pretty sweet bird though if I do say so myself, I rode in a couple blackhawks before and they are roomy and fast it's like a huey on steroids. those dang 46s though boy they make me sick lookin out the back hatch it's that weird wobble they have that gets me. 53's just feel awkward hydraulic fluid everywhere dirty old decrepid ***** boats of a chopper but they are one tough SOB
