Been out of the loop for quite some time. I am ready to start working on the truck for this year. I am going to throw some things in the classifieds b/c I want to rework some things. One question I have is related to the Juice monitor on my edge. I am going to start using a Smarty but I love the Juice monitor digital readout. Does Smarty have a digital monitor now or is still just a downloader? If Smarty is just a downloader can I use my Juice monitor still or should I go with stand alone guages.

Smarty is only a downloader. No guages. I'm sure that if you keep you edge on "0", that you can use all of the guage function. I would do a search here on DTR, to confirm that edge can be stacked with Smarty. Most people remove all previous chips and just run Smarty with mechanical guage since the Smarty can control everything. I know that Smarty is available in POD (Power On Damand), but if the Edge is stack able you can adjust the Edge and just leave smarty on your favorite setting.

Just becareful with stacking, too much of one thing (pressure, duration, timing) can put a hole in your fun.
