Need 12mm Banjo Bolt to JIC-6 Fitting for dual CP3 Kit
Need 12mm Banjo Bolt to JIC-6 Fitting for dual CP3 Kit
Purchased a used cp3 kit and need one fitting for installation. It's a 12mm banjo bolt to JIC-6 fitting. It enables you to tap into the supply and also the return fuel lines.
My aftermarket lift pump connects into my stock filter housing (I have the earfly 2004 cummins). So I need to tap into the return on the housing and also tap into the stock supply line using these fittings.
The company that makes the dual cp3 kit said they send me one but this has been going on for several months with many calls from me inquiring when its coming. I have a feeling they don't won't to break a kit up to send me a fitting.
I suppose I could use a T fitting but would have to guess how to accomplish such a task.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Did you try Vulcan Performance?
If it ends up being too much of a hassle to get this banjo bolt, you could always tee into the return line between the bottom cp3 and the filter housing. Take a look at this picture, just under the GDP filter housing, and you can see a small brass fitting in the return line that tees up to the return line from the top cp3.
I was too excited to wait a couple days for the correct banjo to arrive, so I picked up a 3/8" tee and threaded push-lok fittings into each end. On my truck, there is a stock metal return line from the stock cp3 that heads up towards the intake side of the filter housing return. For some reason it's not metal all the way, there is about a 2-3 inch piece of rubber hose. So, I took off the metal lines and cut them back a bit on each side to fit my new tee in between them.
I don't know how much room you have to work with, since you have the stock filter housing in place, but this is an option if you can't get one of those banjo bolts.

If you're wanting a M12X1.5 to -6AN adapter, then you can get them from most speed shops. They are traditionally called "Weber Carburetor Adapters". The Aeroquip P/N is FBM2116. They used to be under $10, but Summit shows them for $26.... wow.
I've installed those in at least a dozen trucks for guys... no problems ever. They thread into CP3s, VP44s, filter housings, and lift pumps. Don't forget, you must use a banjo washer under them.
