Ok well my switch is still a no go, I hooked it up to ground and when I hit it still no thing happens. Is the #25 wire on the C2 module wrong?? as of now my wiring is as follows.

#25wire----33ohm resistor----switch----ground
Yeah, your switch is fine. The relay only needs to be used if you're using a micro switch that runs through the clockspring in the steering column.

Not sure about with the C2. Just run the wire to the #7 wire in tranny plug like everyone else has done.

I can't explain why it matters, but it does. Someone posted the explanation on here a while back. It will usually work with the resistor on the other side, but it then throws codes for some people.

Have you tried moving the resistor? That's the only thing I can think of that might cause problems.

I pulled it all out and while I was doing it I decided to check the resistance in each leg, across the resistor I got infinite so I got a bad resistor...just my luck. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to get another one in there and I'll let you know if that works, my guess is thats the problem. thanks for all your help though

Ok so I replaced the resistor and wow those gears pull a lot harder with the tc locked up.

One problem though it won't lock up in first, when I hit the switch it shifts to second then locks. Isnt it supposed to be able to lock in first? I just have a lot of hills around me and would like to be able to hit it after I get to about 10 and just cruise up the hill.

Your valve body probably doesn't allow it. It all depends on how the valve body is setup. Most 48re valve bodies will lock in first.

Any VB will allow if it is setup that way. You may have to special request that feature.
