Is it worth puting a tc lock up switch in my 95 auto? I recently had a heavy duty transmission upgrade. I found instructions on the TST website that has the simple instructions for hooking one up. What do you all think?

 

Lots of info on Mystery Switch's here on DTR. But yeah, I feel it's diffinitely worth it.

 

It is definately worth having the switch. I use mine all the time loaded or empty its nice being able to keep converter locked in 3rd or od for steep long grades . I can't wait until I have the cash for an exhaust brake. With those two together I'll forget what that middle pedal is for!

 

Installed it yesterday and it works great!!! Also installed a 33ohm resister between the switch and the ground. Just to be safe.

 

does this work on the 2001 models and how do you do it?
