Unhappy Top speed?

What kind of top speed are you guys getting out of your trucks...under the safest possible conditions ... I can only get 108 out of mine but I'v get plenty of tach left at that speed. Not to mention the ridiculous defueling that occurs from 100. Any Cheap governor eliminators?

Ive gotten mine to about 125 or so(bigger tires). Not sure about getting rid of the speed limiter. I think if you pull your ABS fuse itll get rid of it, might want to double check though.

Turn your key to start. It will kill your speedo and let you go as fast as your motor allows or you can pull the abs fuses which does the same thing.

turn the key to start? Am i missing something cause thats not exactly good for the starter. If I put a switch to the ABS fuse does that also kill the Speedo? I know it did in my buddies '02. Hadn't thought of that idea before but it would work, I just wouldnt know how fast I was going if it kills the speedo. Thanks, Nick

haha YEP!!!! we already said our trucks are done at 108 with a speed limiter......so just how fast do they go....hmm.....

also....when you wire in a switch, you lose ABS. so last night....the roads were slick...so yea....flip the switch, hit the brakes and drift around a corner!!! just don't let the rear end pass the front end

How is this ABS sensor switch wired?? I've seen 135mph and 1600* w/ the key forward, GPS verified.

I find that very hard to believe with your 3.73's and 305's.

You would have to be close to 4,000rpm. Did you find a magical way to fuel to 4,000rpm???If so you gotta start a thread on how you were able to to it.

I have done the key start trick to reach 126mph gps verified and that was with 35" Toyo's and 3.73's.

Or did you swap out your 3.73's for a taller gear.

Yeah I know the MPH caculators say its possable at lower rpm but the weight of the Cummins flattens our tires out alot which raises our revs.

Ive done alot of testing and your the first person I ever heard of that can do 135mph in a lifted 03 with 305's and a stock turbo
