I was cruising posts and seen this one. Has anyone gotten any info on the 03's yet.

The bd speed eliminator works very well on the 03-05 trucks.It even gets rid of defueling on the 03 motors,its pretty cool for around $200.00.

I guess I don't get why anyone would want to take a 7500lb+ truck over 100mph. Don't get me wrong, I'm a speed junkie, but I like to do it in a car or on a bike. I guess the next thing we'll be seeing is how fast we can make our Petes or KW's go.

 

The reason I need to go faster is because of racing. I should be around 115 -118 mph, and my truck wont go that fast right now...

What does "bd" stand for and would it be ok to use in conjuction with Quad xzt?

 

BD is a company name and i should work fine with all programers, boxes, or whatever else is out there. If i had a manual i would look up which wires to tap for and 03. Maybe if i get time tomorrow ill stop at the dealer to check there manual. If anyone else already has one please chime in on what wire is hooked to the abs.

 

do you notice any dfierence in power when you turn off the abs?i did it on my 04 and my power was almost half,maybe the diablo uses the speed sensor for somthing,i put the fuse back in and bang power was back.

 

no power difference.

 

careful guys this stops your speedo also, dont get caught with a switch wired into your abs system, if the dealer sees this you may have questions to answer, and a lights come on in the dash also, just temporarily pull the fuse if you want to play.
