is it too much timing?

I just installed a TST and had done the Tone Ring mod prior. Before I installed the TST I adjusted the ring back to stock just to be on the safe side. The TST is pretty agressive with the timing and does not need any help(additional timing).

I too have done the tone ring mod and run the TST, it is too much if the ring is advanced to the bolts. It threw a cam/crank out of sync code, and rattled pretty bad even with the TST on 0/0. I backed it off about 1/2 way and no code since. it doesn't rattle as bad but I think I need to put it back to stock,(just hard to give up the increase in mileage).
