Just wondering. My truck seems to have too much timing that way when it's cold out but it has been getting warm lately. The truck seems to rattle less with warm weather so I may try to advance it some again. It really gave me some good bottom end power and better mpg.....

 

I turned mine back when I had the quad box on due to the noise it was making. Nothing wrong with the box, and wasen't timing but I was trying to play it safe. Anyway I haven't tried to turn it up but I most likely won't. Hey, let me know how it works

I figure I'm up in the cold most of the year so for me, warm season is only 3 months long

 

no problems here with my Quad box and the Rokk turned as far as it goes.

 

I didn't have any problems with my old Quad box either. The TST advances the timing a bit more than the Quad...

 

That's exactly why I didn't want to turn it up more. I have noticed it's harder to start in the higher numbers, normally leave it on 1, but if it sits more than a week it starts rough (will clear up) so I just turn it to 0 before I fire her up.

I may try to turn it up but again, warm weather isn't that long here, so I figure I'm safe. I'm not sure what happens to a motor when you do have to much timing (I'm sure noise is just the by product) TST add's tons of power, adding another few no biggy to me. I did like the low end the tone ring did give me though.
