Tire Load Range question
I'm running Pro Comps M/T's, 33x12.5, now, the load range is a 'D'. What does this mean
How does this affect my heavy truck? The Pro Comps are an 8 ply tire, should I be looking for a 10 ply tire or just another tire with a better load range? I'm in need of something studdable in the 35x12.5 range for winter, any suggestions? I had BFG's All Terrains studded up on my last truck and it was fanstastic.
Cheers,
James

Load range letter I believe has to do with the # of plys, If your getting flats than a 10 ply would be better. More importantly is the load carrying capasity if you haul a camper or other heavy load.
After looking at there website they are only rated at 2600#'s ea. that won't leave you much room to haul anything.

I got them at a Kal Tire in New Hazelton BC (where?). They had an awesome studd pattern, where the studds actually made L shapes like the lugs.
I'm actually thinking about going with Trxus for winter tires. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
