Timing settings for water/meth and high boost?

I dont want to over do it. yes its studded, running 60psi, dunno about drive pressure, will measure soon. wondering what timing setting to run on the tnt to lessen the chances of popping the HG....?

If running TNT, then running Timing #4 is the least, and less likely to pop a HG. MADS states on their site that #4 is for Huge Injectors or NOS. I currently run timing #4 for daily driving (it spools the turbo SUPER fast). Might try #3 until you get rattle then take somne timing out then, or lower your Meth content, either way #3 or #4 should produce the best results for you.

I run my 750-800Hp setup on #2 with water/meth.

#4 is just about right for monster injectors and 2 huge stages of nitrous......

At least it is on my truck.

For a quick run or dyno run I would try #1.

If it doesn't rattle very much on #1 (mine doesn't) I would spray some meth at it. Continue adding meth until you get rattle or a miss/sputter.
if you don't have a lot of fuel you will need to make sure the egt's don't get too low or power will suffer.
You can do this fairly well by seat of the pants tuning.

My truck makes max power with a small amount of rattle as the turbos spool then the rattle goes away as the turbos come on.
If you hear any significant rattle back it off or you will hurt the headgasket...or worse.

See you at BD...Look for the stock "looking" black truck with a Lear cap....And a fresh dent on the passenger fender.

actualy more meth will cause less rattle.
chris, im running #3 and get no rattle. i have 1 big/one small nozel, starts @ 15psi full on @ 25, usualy running a 50% mix ( winter fluid with a yellow bottle of heat, or a custom tqmonkey mix)

you shulda taken a peek @ mine..... huge improvement from just nozel relocation alone! good luck and avoid the purple juice!

oh, and yes, #4 prob will spool a lagy turbo quicker due to the extra heat in the manifold and the still expanding exhaust....

but lower cyl presure = less torque...

Not doubting your claims, but I have found the opposite with my truck. As mentioned #4 will certainly give away a bunch of power in all but the most extreme applications.

In terms of spooling turbos I have found a great deal of improvement messing around with Torque Management.

7 days and counting!
