Too much timing will melt you down faster than just about anything else, and you wont see the high temps. As to the fine line between max performance and melt down when it comes to degrees of timing Im not sure. Some run more some run less, best to let some of the experts answer.

Thats something I would like to know too,how much timing is the max ?

And how much timing is a certain programmer ?

I wish they all privide these info when buying these programmers.

I have a predator on extreme ,and my tst r 49 on 6* auto timing,Ive tried more timing but when colder I can hear rattling ,so I left it at 6* ,but what the total timing is I have no clue ?

Its difficult to say how much timing is the max ,because nobody has the same mods on a truck .

No...if you are running the TST by itself...do Auto 15! With the Quad...maybe Auto 12.

No....not unless you are running other timing...ie nitrous or propane.
