I have a question that i think some people might be wondering also. With the rash of melted down engines from over timing, what is the limit of timing you can have in these engines? Is there a ballpark number? I know that there is not a specific number cause of different uses that the truck will be in. Also is there a way to figure out what your truck total timing is??? One last part, this must be a gaurded secret but for fun i called edge and wanted to see if i could get some timing specs on their stages and the tech asked the engineer and the tech told me the engineer laughed at my question! I just wanted to see. Hey i tried. Anyway is there a site or anyone have a breakdown of the timing specs for all the tuners so you don't melt down wether it be at the track or while pulling your expensive trailer? My mechanic said i should be ok with the flashpaq on tow and do all of my adjustment with the edge. He has seen this stack alot and people had no bad sideeffects wether it was the weekend racer or the die hard puller. But i pulled it out just incase so i don't become a statistic. I'm saving money for the injectors, studs and a clutch not and whole new engine. Hope we can shed some light on this topic for the informed and not so informed bomber. Thanks!!!!
