How did you do it without frying something? I put HID's in my '06 about a year ago and they fried something within the ECM (or so I was told). Would running them on a relay using the factory headlight wire as a trigger solve this problem? Don't they make harnesses like that? Just trying to find out some info. Like I said, I've rode in trucks with them and they were awesome at night. I'm looking into a reflector from a BMW or Mercedes and retrofitting it into my headlight. I just need to figure out if I can do it SAFELY and not harm the truck.

 

I was told that you need some kind of box to convert over. Im not real sure cuz i wasnt paying much attention when the guy told me but i think you need some kind of box
