Just curious what kind of filters you are all running, because my Afe is about to completely collaps and looking for it's replacement. Thanks Mike

I was starting to see signs of the same problem by the end of the summer, although not nearly as bad as you describe. I just had a few pleats starting to cave and still not sure I didn't just smash them with something. I am more upset with the consistent 15ppm silicone levels the AFE has given me all year. I am going to try a Uni filter next. They make two that will work, part numbers UAP-908 & UAP-904. The UAP-908 is the one Scotty uses in his shaker hoods, cone filter 6.5"x5.25"x11" tall, $62.35 retail. I haven't checked on the dimensions of the UAP-904 yet. One of those might be an option for ya.

Brian do you know anyone who has used these in a twin application?? These are pretty reasonably priced compared to the Afe, although I could not find any specs as to how much air these can flow compared to K&N, Afe ect.. I wonder how durable they are. Mike

No sir, don't know anyone who is using one with twins and have no idea of the flow specs. I'm still out of the country and won't be needing one until I get back early next year, so I haven't looked in to them too much yet. Might have to call Uni or maybe a PM to Scotty. He may know the flow specs on the one he uses in his shaker.

Guys, I thought he had two of these in the shaker hood!!. Two of any great filter would lower the dirt loading and raise the air flow. Hard enough to fit one without rippin and moving stuff. ks
