i got a regular bed and was installing the stacks today when i ran into this problem...


did yal just cut through?

thats what i did when i had installed mine on my past trucks. i never had a problem with it being a problem with the bed structure

hey phantom, i really like it alot. i never thought about changing out my turbo until i got a heck of a deal on this one. now i can really notice the difference and since i got the smarty sr i really like it alot. sticks are coming within the next year probably. i'm still trying to figure out this smarty. it has the beta on it, but was told the revo is a little more daily driver friendly but can't download it from my computer lol

I cut mind. Tow a 5th wheel as well. No problems. You won't have any weight up there to need it any more since you have stacks. If you ever get rid of them some 1/4" angle iron will fix it back up.

Yep, cut through mine. My hole was actually closer to the brace too.

hmm, well ill probably cut about half way through it, or something along those lines, no biggie. i dont have anything better to do on weekends until school kicks back up anyways

Yup I had to cut half way through mine too. See....





I also had to drill through the same brace on either side for the mounting u-bolts like this.....
