Thinking about twins with the stocker.

I have the HTT 62/65/13ss that is on my truck now, & my stocker. If I sent my HTT back to get it set up to a 62/71/13ss would it be good for a stocker/twins set up? I'm not looking for more power, but lower egt's loaded for passing,etc.
Also would I need studs, etc. to keep it together if I did?

No...you need a S400 or a GT42 to go with your stock turbo for twins...

or how about no stocker turbo at all.if egt's are your only issue then send your stuff to nathan from mpi.

You are comparing two turbos with similar air output from the compressor. Changing the 65 to a 71 on your HTT affects the turbine wheel, not the compressor wheel. This allows for better exhaust flow at the expense of a little spoolup.

For proper use in twins for proper air "compounding", the bottom, or primary, turbo will be significantly larger than the top. As said above, those turbos would be like an s400, GT42 or 45, Bht3b, K31 and the like.
